In anthropology today, I was asked what I want out of life. Do I want the American Dream? To just grow old and have a nice car, nice house, nice family and a lot of money. As great as that sounds, it’s not the only thing I want out of my life. I raised my hand and told him I wanted to make a difference in the world. He smiled and said that he liked that, but little did he know that is exactly what I want. I want to make a difference in the world. I would like to drive a nice car, have a nice house and a nice family, but to me there is more importance in helping people, in trying to change the world through good influence. I just want to be a good person, someone that has left their mark in a cold world by being the very best that I can be. I don’t know the specifics that I want out of my life but big picture speaking, this will make me happiest.

It’s so sad when the person your closest with changes for the worse and you are no longer close with them at all.
